September Flower of the Month: Aster and Morning Glory
Updated: Mar 22

Symbolizing powerful love, asters are a a flowering plant that produces daisy-like blooms with double-layered petals ranging from white to deep magenta in color. According to folklore, asters were thought to ward off snakes when burned.

Morning Glories signify budding romance and can occur in tints and shades from blush pink, to deep indigo, to violet, some also appearing to have a contrasting “fire burst” of color emerging from the flower‘s center. The morning glory derived its common name due to its delicate blooms which open in early morning and close tightly before mid-day.
Sending love to all of our friends celebrating birthdays this month!
