October 12: National Farmers Day

Updated: Oct 14, 2021

Since the 1800’s, farmers and farming families have been honored on October 12 each year for their unmatched hard work and dedication to bringing fresh foods to our tables. Formerly known as Old Farmers Day, this holiday celebrates family farming traditions that have been passed down through generations. On October 12, and each time you put food in your mouth, be thankful, and think of a farmer.
