July Flower of the Month: Delphinium & Water Lily
Updated: Mar 22
In the month of July, delphiniums and water lilies abound. The delphinium, also known as the larkspur, occurs in pink, white or purple. It derives its name from the Ancient Greeks who thought it's flowers' shape looked like a dolphin's nose. The delphinium generally signifies strong bonds of love.

Water Lilies (shown below) signify majesty and purity, and are revered as a symbol of rebirth and enlightenment. Aside from their beauty, water lilies are valued because of their ability to slow algae growth in ponds, and also for the shade they provide to water-dwelling neighbors.

Happy Birthday to all our friends celebrating life this month!
